Directions to Torrey Pines Surf Spot Torrey Pines Surf Spot Directions The Surf Crowd and Culture   From the North: Take the I-5 SOUTH.   Exit Carmel Valley Road/56 EAST.   Turn RIGHT so you're heading WEST.   Continue WEST through two stop lights and two stop signs.   For the NORTH Parking Lot: Turn LEFT on McGonigle and continue under the bridge and enter the parking lot.   For the South Parking Lot: Continue on Carmel Valley Road until the Old Highway 101 Intersection. Turn LEFT onto Old Highway 101 and head SOUTH. Parking can be found along Old Highway 101 or in the SOUTH parking lot.   For Pay Parking along Highway 101: Continue on Carmel Valley Road until the Old Highway 101 Intersection. Turn RIGHT onto Old Highway 101 and head NORTH. Make a legal U-Turn and head SOUTH on Old Highway 101. Parking can be found parallel to the highway and must be paid for. From Inland North County: Take the 78 WEST.   Take the I-5 SOUTH.   Exit Carmel Valley Road/56 EAST.   Turn RIGHT so you're heading WEST.   Continue WEST through two stop lights and two stop signs.   For the NORTH Parking Lot: Turn LEFT on McGonigle and continue under the bridge and enter the parking lot.   For the South Parking Lot: Continue on Carmel Valley Road until the Old Highway 101 Intersection. Turn LEFT onto Old Highway 101 and head SOUTH. Parking can be found along Old Highway 101 or in the SOUTH parking lot.   For Pay Parking along Highway 101: Continue on Carmel Valley Road until the Old Highway 101 Intersection. Turn RIGHT onto Old Highway 101 and head NORTH. Make a legal U-Turn and head SOUTH on Old Highway 101. Parking can be found parallel to the highway and must be paid for. *Please note: There a lot of different ways to reach this spot by using side roads and other highways.
