Terramar Surf Spot
can't express how many times I've driven past this wave and
seen it firing with awesome surf and almost no surfer's
out in the water. The subtle reefs and soft sands lead to
awesome waves that come pealing into the beach. This is
definitely a spot to check out!
The view up the coast from
Terramar is located just
South of the Carlsbad Power plant and North of Palomar
Airport Road. It can easily be passed if not looking
carefully to keep your eyes open while following the
directions below. There is not many stores or conveniences
right by this break so come prepared if spending the day.

The Parking Scenario:
There is not a designated
parking lot for Terramar but there is plenty of parking on
the side of Old Highway 101 and in the surrounding
neighborhoods. If the street if full, then I recommend
heading inland through the houses and apartments and begin
searching for an open spot.

that leads down to a set of stairs which drop you off right
