The Parking Scenario:
Parking can be a challenge
on a good day of surf and although it may be difficult to
find a spot, on a good day, it's going to be worth it. The
main parking source for the Streets at Del Mar is street
parking. Along all of the streets on the West side of the
101 is free parking in front of the residential houses.
Because the streets are small, make sure to look around for
any one-way street signs and no parking signs. Please be
courteous and do not block any of the residents driveways.

Beach Accessibility and Conveniences:
There is beach access
located at the end of almost every street. Simply walk
toward the ocean and you are certain to be near an entry
point to the surf. Most entry ways are between homes that
are set on the beachfront.

There are restrooms set up
at these beach access points, not all of them but from what
we have noted, there was a restroom set up every 3rd or so
street access point. The restrooms are city maintained and
free to the public within open hours of operation.

Lifeguard:
There are lifeguard
stations set up along the entire coast of Del Mar beach and
the lifeguards are set in those stations for the summer
months. During the winter months, a lifeguard may or may not
be on stage which is something you must take personal note
of. If there is no lifeguard on duty, please take extreme
caution when paddling out.
