South Carlsbad Crowd and Culture
The Crowd at Carlsbad is
very open. Localism isn't a big issue at these breaks
because a lot of surfer's surf here as they drive by or if
it's small everywhere else. I've surfed the South Carlsbad
beaches more then a few times and have never experienced any
kind of problems with other surfers or up on the beach.
South Carlsbad is an
awesome place for beginner surfers, a day at the beach or a
fun session of surfing with some buddies. It's a great spot
to just relax and enjoy the beauty that California has to
offer.
