Blacks Beach Crowd and Culture
Blacks
Beach does host a home to a certain level of Localism. There
are many people that live in the homes surrounding this
break and have surfed there many years in a row. Because of
this, they know the wave and the break very well. Like we
always say, if you paddle out with a good attitude and are
prepared to pay your dues to the lineup before getting your
first wave, you should be fine and be able to catch some
great waves while out at Blacks Beach.

Another
interesting note is the fact that Blacks Beach is a renowned
Nude Beach. In fact, it is very illegal on any California
beach, however due to it's location and privacy, many beach
goers still shed the clothes on the beach. The chance of
finding a group of supermodels laying out is slim to none
but be ready to see plenty of older men that are working on
their overall tan. It is definitely an interesting
experience so be respectful and move on to your surf
session!
